From TeaGschwendner

This moderately oxidized Fujian Oolong, warm and woody, is complemented quite nicely by the addition of Osmanthus Blossoms – tiny late summer flowers prized by the Chinese for their rich, nectar-like flavor reminiscent of peach.

I can’t decide whether the addition of the kwai flower improves this. I tend to think not actually.

I’m not really into flowery teas though, so the fact that this is getting is reasonably high rating shows that it’s a pretty good tea. It also stands up very well to being steeped several times without losing the flavour, so it must be good tea!

This tea smells great, but not Oolong-y, because the flowers cover all the other smell. Luckily, the taste of this tea is not dominated by the flowers that were added to this tea. Remind that this is not an aromated tea, its namely a pure Oolong, but with flowers in it (so the tea vendor said to me today).

Its tastes a bit sweet, but not that “peachy” at all (like the description claims). It is a very nice note, that definetely comes from the yellow flower things in the tea, and it fits very well with the overall good Oolong. A great mix, and it completely dispels my initial doubts if a Oolong with “peachy tasting flowers” could be any good.

I love it, will get its own Tea Box :D

Nice mild oolong with a pleasant, floral accent. Wish the tea would live up to the aroma of the loose leaf which was full of honeyed apricot notes, but the flavor accents are much more subtle than the aroma leads you to believe. Still a very good tea, just not what I was expecting from the aroma.

A blander Oolong, with less caffeine.

I’m no expert at Oolong teas and this was the first Oolong tea that I drank. It tasted a little woody and had a hint of peaches. I liked it.
