From TeaGschwendner

The Mannong region of Yunnan province has been producing tea for over 1,500 years. In this magical place, leaves are harvested from ancient tea trees in traditional fashion and then painstakingly handcrafted into exquisite Pu-Erh. This organic tea is no exception- a deep, chocolate brown cup that yields a savory, earthy richness.

Preparation: One heaping teaspoon per 8oz cup of filtered, boiling water. Allow to brew 3 minutes. Multiple infusions are possible and highly recommended.

Organic cultivation certified by Ceres GmbH for conformity with USDA standards.

A very intriguing tea! Tastes – as advertised – quite earthy. in a loamy way. But – for its price – its lacking too much depth for my taste. Maybe i need to take more leaves next time. Oh, and the color is very nice, deep reddish/brown, almost like Coca Cola.
