From Teabox

First offering of green tea in the autumnal season is from Goomtee Tea plantation – a vintage garden which has a unique history tied to it. A liquor with a crystal lemon like colour that has a sweet touch to it (Green teas have this bad perception of being bitter but Darjeeling greens are an exception). The leaves can be steeped multiple times and each time the taste is as fresh as ever. We highly recommend it to start your mornings.

Gomtee Tea Estate is a beautiful garden located between Jungpana to the East and Castleton to the West with a glorious past consisting of multiple owners. Henry Lennox, a British pioneer, was the first to start planting teas in this garden back in 1899. Darjeeling Tea from Goomtee, is processed in the traditional “Orthodox” way – breed and harvested at an altitude of over 4500 ft combined with excellent harvesting methods, this has ensured quality of pure china tea leaf. These distinguished teas are often sold marketed as Muscatel Valley teas.

The second green tea I purchased from Darjeeling … good but nothing extraordinary compared to other Darjeelings.. much better than most generic green teas though

This tea looked broken up which was sad, however the taste was quite pleasant. I really enjoy the undertone of lemon in this tea as it is already a light tasting tea it accented it quite nicely.
