From Tea Vibes

CHILL VIBES: Honey Citron Bee’s Knees Chamomile

A caffeine-free, dreamy loose-leaf chamomile tea infused with honey and citron vibes. This tea blend is one of our most popular teas, and we’re gonna let you in on a little secret…we actually infuse this tea with dried bee pollen. This not only adds complex flavor profiles to this tea, but it helps to boost immunity as well. We also soak our chamomile tea flowers in vanilla essence and add dehydrated honey. Oh, and obviously you know this tea is great for helping you sleep. We swear by it.

Cocktail Inspiration: The Bee’s Knees – A Prohibition Era cocktail made with Gin, fresh lemon juice, and honey. It is served shaken and chilled, often with a lemon twist.

Notes: fragrant chamomile, citrus, honey, vanilla, oak, bee pollen, honeycomb, honeysuckle, molasses, earthy fennel

Benefits May Include: +antioxidant boost +better sleep +calming the nervous system +headache relief +destress

Caffeine Level: none

Ingredients: chamomile, organic honeybush, lemongrass, licorice, flavors, twig tea, toasted coconut, hand-cut vanilla bean, chicory, stevia leaf, honey, sea salt, citric acid. Blended in a facility that processes nuts (coconut).

‘Samurai’ Traveling Teabox – Tea #18
This is the last tea from the teabox to write a tasting note for – removed from the teabox as I thought there was only one serving left.  But there are two!  The ingredients are finely chopped, so wanted to use only one teaspoon and this is surprisingly very GOOD.  I was worried about the bee pollen ruining it, but can hardly tell it’s there.  It’s one of the best chamomile blends I’ve tried.  It simply tastes like chamomile yet very sweet.  I’m surprised more of the other ingredients don’t peak through, but I like this resulting flavor anyway.  The second steep is even tastier.  If you’re just expecting chamomile, it floats your boat anyway, without all these extras. NONE of those other ingredients were in the flavor: sea salt, coconut, vanilla, honey, chicory, licorice, lemongrass? At least the stevia didn’t ruin it…
Steep #1  // 1 teaspoon for full mug // 16 minutes after boiling  // 2 minute steep
Steep #2  // just boiled //  4 min
