Indoor weekend errands, white light coming in from outside. Stack of magazines, writing a letter, buying stamps, finally putting together a calendar for the year.

E is for … English Breakfast! (Ode to Tea)
I love a nice cup of black tea, sweetened with some sugar and topped off with coffee cake creamer, such a treat for my morning. Tea of Life, makes amazing tea bags in all tastes and blends, their black tea blends are so warming and a perfect way to jump start the morning. These are some of my favorite tea bags to have on hand!

Somebody shared at work. Drinkable, even when I left the bag in the mug the whole time, but neither especially strong nor especially notable. Just tea. Best simply because it is hot.

This is my go-to English Breakfast teabag when I don’t feel like futzing around with loose tea. (The lazy, it is strong sometimes.) I enjoy the flavor, and can often drink it straight, but most often add a dollop of honey and shot of fresh lemon. I’ve never found it to be bitter unless I’ve goofed and forgotten to pull the bag out after my usual 4 minutes.

Backlog:

I love the pop-art tins of this particular collection from Tea of Life. The picture here doesn’t show the pop-art tins, you can see this tin in my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/01/17/english-breakfast-tea-tea-life/ (yeah, the photo isn’t the greatest.)

A really nice breakfast blend. Rich, hearty … robust. It’s edgy without addition, so if you like a tea that’s got a bit of an edge, serve it straight up. It does take the addition of milk and honey (or turbinado sugar!) well if you like a morning latte.

Full-flavored, notes of malt, sweet, earthy, and with hints of leather.

I’m not always crazy about bagged tea but this one’s pretty darned good.
