Tai Ping Hou Kui or “Monkey leader from Tai Ping” is a Green tea from Anhui. This natural tea is reminiscent of an early summertime in the countryside with an aroma of seeds, hay and grass. It has a light and cucumber-like flavour with a touch of sweetness and tartness.
Tai Ping Hou Kui has a peculiar shape: the tea leaves are pressed flat and look as though they are as thin as a sheet of paper. When steeped they become soft and bendable like pasta once it has been left boiling in water for a little while.
Brings about a relaxed, happy state, helps to wind down.
