Way too sweet. I wish I’d looked at the ingredients and CALORIES before buying it.

Uniquity

Calories in tea? I assume there’s sugar hiding in there. : (

Erin Hurley

TONS. 180 calories in a tiny bottle.

Daisy Chubb

whaaat 180??? That’s most than some pop that I drink. wtf.

Daisy Chubb

More, rather.

Ashley Bain

why are bottled teas so daaang sweet. I like sweet tea, and I was born in Texas.. but comemaahhn. It’s just ridic.

Daisy Chubb

haha you should try Canadian iced tea. It’s not tea, per se. It’s well.. nestea! All of it. us and our nestea and ketchup chips.

Uniquity

Mmm, ketchup chips. There is this brand I had never heard of before Called Herr’s and they make Heinz Ketchup chips. So yummy.

Daisy Chubb

Yeah I’m a sucker for ketchup popcorn seasoning. So. Good.

Erin Hurley

Crazy. Canadians. Everywhere.

Backlog:

I picked up this tea while grocery shopping, and thought I’d give it a try. It is VERY sweet. I was glad that the bottle didn’t have a lot of settled sediment at the bottom. It tastes strongly of peach with notes of apple. There is too much juice and not enough tea, in my opinion.

I tasted next to no tea flavor. Disappointment.

sherapop

I agree. This is more like peach-flavored water to me. Lots of corn syrup or something along those lines…

Picked this one up at the Starbucks where I stopped to pick up some lunch. I was already in the area and I didn’t want to have to drive somewhere else so I thought I might as well grab a panini at Starbucks. I couldn’t decide on a drink and I felt like the barista was waiting for my reply so I impulsively grabbed this from the cooler.

This was pretty good. At first I had assumed I was drinking a very sweet black tea until I read the label. Its green tea with apple and peach juice. I could definitely taste the apples and peaches. I could taste the green tea underneath the apple and peach flavour, but only after I read the label. So it may have just been the power of suggestion! Overall it was good, but a little too sweet. I felt a bit cheated after I found out there was juice in it, but I guess that is better than a load of artificial flavour and sugar. Although, I am sure that is all the juice is made of anyway.

I wish I really would have asked them to make me a fresh iced tea instead. Not sure why I choked when she asked me what I wanted. There’s always next time.

I’m trying to use up all consumables in heavy packaging before The Big Move. Case in point: this bottle of Tazo Giant Peach. Since it weighs about a pound, I’m much better off imbibing it here and now rather than moving it first!

This is really a juice-type beverage—not so much a tea, at least not to me. Today I added a scoop of Madre Labs Madre-C, of which I have about a quarter of a cylindrical jar left—not sure whether I’ll be able to avoid moving this one! The colors match, so I figured that it was a good choice. A peachy-orange colored liquid with a Giant Peach flavor and a massive burst of wild harvested vitamin C (from camu camu, etc.) thrown in for good measure. It tasted fine.

Hopefully I’m healthier for having drained this bottle. One thing is clear: my moving load will be one pound lighter as a result!

Now perhaps I should go prepare some pumpkin soup with some of my stockpiled cans of organic pumpkin and coconut milk!

According the the label Giant Peach is a green tea with apple and peach juices, but this tea doesn’t taste like tea at all. For those of you who don’t enjoy drinking tea, this may be a plus in your category, but if you’re wanting a more traditional bottled tea won’t find it here. This tastes much more like juice and a quick peak at the label shows this contains 30% juice. If you’re a habitual label reader like I am then you’ll quickly realize that this “tea” contains more juice than many juice blends on the market. It also packs a whopping 180 calories and 40 grams of sugar per 13.8 oz bottle. For that reason alone I’m unlikely to purchase it again, but the retail price of $2.49 per bottle is also a little hard to swallow.

This tastes sweeter and less peachy than what I remember. Hmph.

I’m not usually a fan of peach tea, but was pleasantly surprised by this one. I liked the mix of peach and sweet, and consider it a favorite. Now, if my local stores wouldn’t have discontinued carrying it…

A good cold case addition. It provides the right amount of sweetness without a soda’s worth.
