From T2

We’ve travelled the world to find these rare and special teas. The crème de la crème of teas lets you escape to a moment of absolute refined indulgence. These little black needles, once brewed, produce dark beautiful twisted leaves that create a dancing malty molasses flavour.

This tea estate was established in 2001 with cultivars from Nepal, Taiwan, Japan and Darjeeling. It is this range of tea plants along with the soil and climate that provide the diversity of flavour found in this tea.

Harvested in April 2014 (Spring Harvest) Grown at an altitude of 1800m.

Brew: 1 tsp per 250ml, 2-3 mins at 100 °C (212°F) Good for 2 infusions

Serve: Hot

Flavour: Sweet burnt woody, molasses moving into light, lively, straw. Returning flavour of a light smokiness
