One of my favorites from Stash. They seem to do flavored black tea very well, in my humble opinion. Very “fresh”, non artificial peach flavoring. Wins hands down over Ginger Peach by Republic of Tea.

I was making space in my cupboard for my Adagio tins on the way (only 2, but still want them front and center) when I found a few bags of Stash Peach Black left. I needed a pick me up this morning so I made a cup to enjoy while getting ready for work. It’s not bad for a bagged tea. Gave a rich dark caramel liquor after steeping for 2 minutes and smells strongly of peach. It does have a bit of a floral aftertaste. Might try the last few bags iced, as I believe this is one my husband would like (as it tastes like lipton iced). I can’t get him into other teas yet.

Great peach taste with a strong, standard black taste behind it. Not the highest quality tea, but it gets the job done.

The peach flavor is quite good. Its not overwhelming or missing or bitter. The tea itself seems very light. No malty, chocolaty or much of any other flavor that I can detect. Since I put one teabag in our teapot (which I’m sure is more than 8oz) I may try more tea next time.

I had a cup this morning. Very nice, not too heavy on the peach flavor.

It is ridiculously hot and humid, though I confess this is one of the coolest summers I can remember so far. I think this week is our first where the highs are in the 90’s every day. For breakfast, I have opted to drink this peach tea so I can tell myself the peaches mean summertime even though my tea is hot. I am making a full pot and icing half with a bit of sugar to serve as my lunchtime tea. Morning tea is taken plain.

I think I prefer my peach tea without ginger. That leaves this and Charleston Tea Plantation (owned by Bigelow) in competition as the two I have tried, but this one just seems more accessible somehow. My middle daughter bought this for my birthday and I am really enjoying it.

The peach flavor tastes fresh and natural instead of artificial and cloying. (Peach yogurt utterly gags me.) It even resteeps well, which means I can make it by the pitcher without it costing a fortune. The black tea is plenty strong without being harsh or bitter. Even though I sweeten MOST of my ice tea including this one, it would be really enjoyable without sugar cold, too.

I am having trouble with my messages on here, so White Antlers – I did reply to your message which blessed me so much, but I don’t know if you can retrieve it! Thank you so much for your kind words!

White Antlers

Ashmanra, I got your reply. Thanks for being so dear and gracious. : )

White Antlers

Oh, and I get the 503 error when I try to send a message, too.

gmathis

It’s OK, your heat wave is in Missouri this week and next.

ashmanra

White Antlers: I am glad the message sent! For days now I have had a notification that I have another message, but when the mail page will open, there is nothing new there.

Gmathis: No relief for the heat in sight here. I would be happy to see highs in the 80’s!

White Antlers

ashmanara-I think that is because when I send a message via Steepster, for some reason the system sends it TWICE. Oy!

I wish both of you ladies some cooler temperatures. Philadelphia is a humid jungle from May through October and temps rarely dip below the high 80s and are usually in the 90s and upwards-plus very high HUMIDITY.

Very pleasantly surprised by this tea, I was expecting the peach flavor to be overwhelming but it is actually just right. Very much enjoyed this tea!

I just wanted something I could steep once. (I usually resteep everything – unless its oolong or pu-erh). But really this is so nice, I probably could have resteeped it. I really like most of Stash’s teabags. They might be my favorite grocery brand. There is a strong sweet peach flavor with a decently robust malty black tea base. The cup is pretty dark. It’s tasty and would probably be AWESOME iced. I’m lacking an iced tea vessel though!

Fjellrev

Nooo, hope you’ll pick up an iced tea vessel soon, especially with summer around the corner!

tea-sipper

Haha, I just have no idea what to get. I should probably just get a mason jar that is iced tea acceptable or something. :D

Fjellrev

That would totally work! I have a plain glass jug, nothing fancy, and it works like a charm.

adagio breeze

you don’t resteep oolong or pu? o_O

tea-sipper

No, I meant I steep oolong or pu more than twice. :D

caile

I love mason jars to keep iced tea in. :)
