From Stash Tea

Rich mango and fresh, sweet coconut flavors in this Oolong tea bring to mind a day at the beach.

Oolong is between black and green tea in taste and color. The best oolong tea in the world grows in the mists and fertile ground of the Wuyi Mountains of China’s Fujian Province. Juicy mango flavor combines with sweet coconut flavor for a tea that brings to mind a day at the beach. Enjoy a bit of the island life with our Coconut Mango Oolong.

Ingredients: Wuyi oolong tea, orange peel, mango flavor, and pineapple coconut flavor

Brewing
To savor the full flavor of our teas, bring fresh water to a rolling boil. Pour hot water directly over the tea bag in a pre-heated pot or cup. Brew 3-5 minutes or to desired taste. One tea bag makes 8 ounces of hot tea. For iced tea, brew double strength.

I tried this tea for the first time tonight. I bought it when I was obsessed with finding a fruity tea and it happened to catch my eye. It is a good combination and good tasting tea, but I didn’t find that either mango nor coconut stood out for me as separate flavours on their own. Overall, it’s an okay tea, but it isn’t going to become a go-to for me.

I like that you can taste both the mango and coconut – nice and smooth. I enjoy with a little milk.

This is a really tropical tea. Fruity, fresh, and fun! I sometimes add a little sugar (Teavana’s rock sugar).

You can definitely taste and smell coconut in it. There’s a soft rusticness to it. It’s a little more agressive than my normal teas but I’m definitely loving it this afternoon, while it’s powering me through a slow last hour and half of my work day.

Not bad, but not a favorite. One more experience in the ‘I don’t like flavored teas’ lesson.

consistent in the joy it brings… unexpectedly delightful in it’s definite oolong character with the right amount of flavor. indeed.
