2 bags for a 500mL travel mug, drunk bare.

Another delight for a rainy morning drive. A dependable, really tasty ginger black tea that takes the chill out of the pouring rain. Practically screams to be simmered in milk on the stove with from cinammon black tea. Forgives a long steep — really good black tea base.

I haven’t seen this variety in stores, I’ll have to check it out. I love their ginger peach black and green, so this is one I would have to try!

As far as I know, the Ginger Breakfast is only available online, where it’s a bestseller. I order this in batches of 240 bags. Man, I wish it came loose, but for a bagged tea, it’s excellent. http://www.stashtea.com/products/products.aspx?sku=030035

Loving this spice! As with all my breakfast teas, I added a splash of milk and a little sugar. I was expecting a very harsh ginger, but this one is really nice! It’s not overpowering, it’s not musty, it’s even fresh tasting and a bit spicy! Yum! I agree with another rating- the ginger is sparkling. Can’t taste the black tea quite as much as I’d like, but that’s ok. For Stash, this is really good!

I made a cup of this tea to take to church this morning. I’m not particularly fond of ginger, but for some reason I like this tea. The ginger flavor isn’t too spicy or overwhelming and has more of a mellow, warming taste. I can imagine this would be a good tea for when you’re not feeling well. It’s actually a good cup to wake up with, and it held off my hunger until we got home and made brunch.

-Standard teabag.
-Teabag smells strongly of ginger. Tea liquor aroma is of malty ginger.
-Tea liquor is a cloudy medium brown color.
-Strong ginger flavor and finish. Small spicy aftertaste.
-Best with milk and sweetener.
-Good tea. Mellow and warming ginger flavor. Not too spicy.

Today I have two sick kids tucked under blankets. Everyone in my house has a sore throat, and we are all grumpy. This made the choice for my morning pot of tea an easy one. I’m so glad I had this in the house today. Everyone enjoys it, and with a spoonful of honey stirred in it helps sooth scratchy throats. If today has to be bad at least the tea is good!

Great breakfast tea with a nice ginger flavor that is not too overwhelming. After trying this one, breakfast tea without ginger just has not been the same.

I love this tea. It’s spicy and snappy without going over the top. This would be a good introduction to ginger for the curious.

I didn’t have time to make myself tea before leaving the house this morning (the joys of waking up late … maybe I should invest in one of those programmable tea makers for days like today?), so I grabbed a bag of this to take to work instead. I haven’t been a huge fan of ginger + fruit in teas, but figured ginger on its own might be okay. Because it’s a breakfast tea, I had this with milk and a bit of sugar.

The ginger makes this warm and pleasantly spicy; I really enjoyed my cup of this. A nice, relaxing cup of tea to drink while reading emails.

This tea is becoming a standard for me. Milk and sweetener work well with the ginger, but it still makes its presence known through piquant flavor and lasting warmth.
