A hybrid of the Ya Shi Xiang “Duck Shit” and Shui Xian “Water Sprite” Phoenix oolong varieties—the Da Wu Ye “Big Black Leaf” is our latest Dan Cong acquisition. Dan Cong, meaning “single grove” are teas known for their ability to naturally imitate fruit and flower tastes. Very low yields mean the expertise of the tea master in processing are crucial. Completely organic cultivation, coupled with soil rich in organic matter and mature trees make for a refreshing bouquet in the cup.
