From SpecialTeas

Grown high in the pristine mountain air of the Himalayans, this remarkable semi-fermented Nepal tea combines the characteristics of a high-grown Darjeeling and a soulful Oolong. The oxidation process of this entirely handmade Oolong has been carefully monitored by the estate manager and stopped at about 40%, just at the peak of its aromatic bouquet.

This beautiful plucking boasts a high percentage of unopened leaf buds and silvery tips. The infusion is a golden amber cup with a flowery, fruity aroma that delivers clean, smooth flavor with natural sweetness and a wonderful, satisfying aftertaste. A quiet, well-rounded tea with many nuances!

Great tea. Does remind me of a Darjeeling Black. Bit of smoke, honey, and a bit fruity. Need to drink it neat or you will loose the flavor. No aftertaste, nice and clean.Bit dry on the tounge but not too bad.

A nice smoky oolong with a bit of fruitiness. Highly oxidized, it’s almost like a light black tea.

The last of this. Tried it in a gaiwan just because I could and it really brings out the sweet honey scent, also a hint of smoky. Tastes light (not in flavor but in type of flavor) and very nice.
