2005 Mengku DaXueShan Raw 357g
Mengku Da Xue Shan (Big Snow Mountain)
The full name of this tea is a mouthful – Shuangjiang Mengku Mingqian Chunjian Daxueshan. The factory name is Shuanjiang Mengku. Mingqian Chunjian means picked before Qingming festival, spring tips. And DaXueShan is the name of the area, literally translated to big snow mountain. There are two Da Xue Shan (Big Snow mountains) in Lincang prefecture. One is in Mengku county and the other is in Yong De county.

The cake use the abort tree leaf from big snow mountain where the altitude is 2250-2750 meter. The tea is made primarily from strong silver tips. Hence, the dry leaf is floral and refreshing. The taste of this tea is rich, sweet, and fruity. It has a very smooth mouth feel with long lasting taste. The “Cha Qi”is delicate and gentle. The tea is a certified safe tea (ATI) by Tea Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Agriculture in China
