From Seven Cups

This tea uses maocha that is grade 8 to 10. This tea comes from Xishuangbana in the area around old Puer City. The growing area is over 2000 meters above sea level. The large leaves produce a tea that shines with redness. The tea is sweet with a date flavor that is the result of careful fermentation. The tea has no earthiness or woodiness. There is no heaviness.
