The shape of this kind of Xinyang Maojian spring tea is thin and straight, white tips appreared, of a pale green color. The liquor is bright yellow. Tge fragrance is intense and durable.The leaves after infusion, you can see the tender tea leaves.

The overview of Xinyan Maojian Green Tea:
Xinyang is the name of origin place of xinyang mao jian, a city in Middle China. Da Bir Moutain go through this tea area, the high moutains and the froests offers a humid cloudy climate to the tea trees. Maojian refers to the tea appearance, fur covered buds of the tea leaves. Since the cold cliamate of xinyang tea area, the tea trees are small bushes and the tea leaves are much more smaller. Looked at the tea leaves after the infusion. Xinyang maojian can be picked in three seasons: spring, summer, autumn, Tea in spring is aquamarine, bitter then sweet. It is better to be picked before frein rain, Tea in summer is bitter and black. Picked after white dew is called autumn tea, It has distinctive flavor, but less production, Sring tea and summer tea are the top grades. There is a folk tale that the early tea for friends and late tea for parents, which means that the spring tea and the autumn tea are all of good taste which is suitable to as a gift to elders or friends.

Wow, this one is way past it’s prime. When I had it fresh I gave it a 90. It sure doesn’t taste like that anymore. No rating since it’s too old now.
