Sipdown!!!
Somehow though, watching teas dwindle cup by cup is immensely frustrating. I’m the type that needs to finish things if they are on my plate, asap, for some reason. I’m ocd like that it seems(or rather, in my cupboard) and so when I do actually manage to finish a tea supply, it’s more of a “FINALLY!” than it is an achievement.
So while I really enjoyed this tea, I’m relieved to see it done.
In fact, I’ve been itching to purge my cupboard and just get back to a core tea supply that I can rely on. Is that strange? I really like my variety so it really makes no sense to me. I find it a little contradictory of how I am. Gah!
Anyhow, on my way out the door now, so I’ll finish that thought later

Lindsay

I understand completely.

A library of staples—wonderful for the luxury of not having to think about what to steep.l

A menagerie of “goodies”—wonderful for the luxury of getting to experiment with your steeps.

Hard to say whech benefit outweighs the other, eh?

Indigobloom

Thx Lindsay, it’s nice to hear that! :D
Gmathis, seriously!! which is better, and how do you keep them straight? haha

TeaLady441

I like the idea of 15 staples, and maybe 15 sample sizes for variety. And work down from there.

Indigobloom

15 staples sounds about right but I doubt I’d ever get down to that many samples lol

This cup has some serious HEFT to it! It is definitely a kick in the cup! And I can already feel the effects of it … the caffeine is running through my veins … encouraging me to get up and get busy. House work (ugh) is waiting, and must be done. Might as well take advantage of the kick while I’ve got it, right?

For someone who NEVER adds sugar to their teas…for my 2nd cup of this one from Red Leaf I decided to follow their optional suggestion by adding one of their White Sugar Sticks to it. And I must say it was very good. It does take the edge off of the WICKED BOLD Black tea taste – but I guess it all depends which way you want to go! I LOVE the boldness of this but I have to say – this is one tea I could go with or without sugar…I enjoyed BOTH cups!
