Kukicha (twig tea) – consists of the pale green stems and stalks of the tea plant removed during the production of sencha and gyokuro. A very light yellow-green brew.
Flavour: Light (slightly creamy), with fresh green aroma.
Feature: Light refreshing taste making it popular as a morning tea. Very low in caffeine. A preferred tea of the macrobiotic diet.
