2014 Longyuan Hao Nugget Pu-erh Tea is packed in a nice looking tin. When you open the tin, you would find a bamboo spoon, and a cloth bag, nice and presentable. When you brew it, it is an excellent Pu-erh, the tea infuse to produce an exceptional connoisseur’s tea.

During Pu-erh oxidation process, some of the tea leaves will get stuck with one another and takes a nugget shape form as a result of heat and high compression.

This tea brews a clear chestnut soup in color, rich in flavor, sweet and very smooth, no bitterness and no bad aftertaste. Good for multiple infusions – very enduring, cook it if you have to.

Gongfu brewed in my shiboridashi. Without a doubt this is a good quality nugget puerh, but it is also more expensive due to the more elaborate “gift tea” packaging. This nugget puerh is on the lighter side but it still has expected smooth sweet mellow taste of one. This is also a very clean tea without any earthiness to it.
