Thank you very much, AJRimmer!  However….Oh no, no no no.   This must be the most misleading tea name ever.  Summer Berry Pudding?  Yeah right.  It’s hibiscus.  And only hibiscus!  And earthiness!  How the heck could this be pudding?  Could only be disappointment.  I definitely thought I went very light on the parameters, so I don’t think it’s a matter of overbrewing and only finding hibiscus. I’m too annoyed to even write anything else for this one…
Steep #1 // 1 1/3 teaspoons for full mug // 23 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // just boiled // 3 minute steep

THis one from VariaTEA was alright. I’ve had better herbal blends, so not on my list to keep around or anything but it wasn’t bad. I feel like others enjoy this way more than i do, but it was fine. generic berry herbal blend :)

Cold Brew Sipdown (213)

X is for…an eXtra cup of Summer Berry Pudding

I tried some of my brother-in-law’s beer and it tasted almost like teriyaki sauce. Thankfully I had a cold brew ready to go to wash it down with. This is strong into the hibiscus berry flavour and a touch herbal. I am okay saying goodbye to this one because it was never a favourite. That said, it’s better than the teriyaki beer so yay for that.

I’m so glad I ordered from Pudtea when I did because it looks like their website is totally gone now. This tea wasn’t great at room temperature, but it was pretty nice cold. Tart berry flavor and a little bit of a desserty something extra. I was surprised by how tasty it was, while also being not drastically different from other tart fruit teas. I guess this one gets the balance just right. Wouldn’t say that anything about it screams pudding though. Really just a fruit tea.

Cold Brew!

First few sips were like a tart hibiscus assault, but then my palate settled into the flavour a little bit more and it was more just a sweet and pucker inducing kind of strawberry/mixed berry profile that was pretty refreshing. Crisp!
