From Petals & Poison

Petals & Poison’s “Graveyard” tea blend. This transcendent brew is conjured up of Ceylon black tea bound with patchouli leaves, orange peels, cinnamon, secret spices, pink roses, and french vanilla that evokes the melancholy feeling of things past. Made in small batchess to ensure freshness. Each tin approximately serves 6-8 cups of tea. Preparing thy tea: Use one tsp of tea leaves per cup, add one heaping tsp for the pot. Add hot water and let stand 3-5 minutes. Stir and serve immediately. Add milk and/or sugar to taste. Ingredients: Blend of loose leaf Black Tea, patchouli leaves, orange peels, cinnamon, secret spices, French vanilla, and pink roses. I pack by volume in these 2 oz tins. They are generally between 1.3-1.5 oz in weight.

I’ve been interested in this brand for awhile, and just decided to make a purchase (a 1am impulse purchase). I went with 4 different blends to start. They range from about $10-$15 per tin, and I was a bit surprised to see how small the tins are. Happily, though, it seems that the tea is packed in quite tightly, so I’ll get quite a few cups out of each tin.
As for the tea- WOW. This is my first patchouli tea, and I am so in love. It smells absolutely divine, and the flavor is lovely. Patchouli, vanilla, and a hint of rose.

Never hear about Patchouli before! That must be an unique flavour!

I’m very familiar with it in perfume, but never tea! It’s definitely unique.
