From Palais des Thés

Native to South Africa, Rooibos bush is a different plant from the tea plant, which gives a pleasant beverage with no caffeine and almost no tannin.

Appreciated for its digestive and purifying properties, mint also has a stimulating effect on the body. It gently dissipates the discomfort associated with indigestion. Its aromatic perfume and its sweet flavour make a very pleasant infusion. Lime blossom is also known for calming, relaxing and aiding sleep by getting rid of nervous fatigue.

(backlog from 5/29/14)

This pleasant rooibos blend from Palais des Thes brews up amber and tastes smooth. The mint and the linden are quite light but serve to moderate the rooibos a bit (not much of a rooibos fan here…).

The pores of the muslin sachet are rather large so that small woody pieces jutted out before brewing, and there were some particles in the bottom of the glass.
