This is an excellent Earl Grey – very strong Bergamot flavor present. The box says “OP” which in gamer/internet lingo means Overpowered – and I agree! I love this Earl Grey. The leaves are rather large – no fine powder to be found here. Brews dark.
It is excellent hot (as intended) or iced. This will tell you why Persians love tea.
This tea is hard to find and is not common – Amazon carries it through a third party seller, perhaps you will have luck finding it in an ethnic market specializing in the Middle East. The Nazu company is based in Herndon, VA so you will probably have the best luck getting this tea locally if you are in the DC Metro area. They are an oddly reclusive company with no public facing website – it adds to the mystery of the OP Persian Special.
Just what exactly is a “Persian Special” anyways? :P
