From Misty Peak Teas

Why it’s awesome

Can it get any easier? Fresh tea on the go or as a wonderful gift for tea lovers of all kinds. These are made with the same full leaves(not debris) as our premium teas, so quality and taste are not sacrificed for beauty and convenience. Fun to watch the leaves open and the flavors and colors evolve as they steep.

Each Rolled Pu’er will make 20-35 cups just by dropping the ball in hot water, drinking the tea, then add more hot water (repeat many times). Smooth flavor and lots of energy, a perfect way to start your journey into Pu’er tea or to make sure you always have great tea by your side.

The taste

The taste of change with the complexity that comes with aging. The leaves have now endured Spring and Summer and have absorbed so much as the seasons change. The complexity of Autumn’s Pu’er allows for a tea that starts with a rich plum flavor and evolves into sweet peach notes, while holding a gold amber hue throughout the steepings. The deep mineral and stone fruit taste has this tea aging into something so different with each passing month. Once one sits with this tea, they will notice complete relaxation as the Autumn tea calms the body and mind.

A true Pu’er; how it has been enjoyed for millenniums.

What’s the story on this tea?

Comes with 3 rolled Pu’er and MPT Box (about 7 grams each)
Super easy to drink. Boiling hot or freezing cold water and everything in-between will make for a great cup of tea!
Picked from ancient tea trees, some planted before America was founded!
Processed by hand, not machinery
Not blended with other mountains, seasons, farmers, like most Pu’er is
Leaves are much larger than normal which gives a greater depth of flavor and allows for many more brews
From FDA registered family farm
Easy for on-the-go and fits in your pocket
Amazing gift idea
How long will it last?

No expiration (gets better with time)
Each can be re-brewed up to 20 times
Our tea increases in taste and value over the years, similar to wine

1x long rinse.

Light steep: I taste/smell; slight smoke. light —→ honey, spices

Medium steep: I taste/smell; slight smoke. Light to medium —→ honey/spices.

Heavy steep: I taste/smell: medium smoke. Strong —→ honey, spices and fruity (peaches).

All in all, a wonderful mellow tea! I think the previous tea may have marred the tastes even though I washed it out well. ( I could be wrong: maybe it’s the fruity I taste). Time to get a yixing teapot for sheng.

I cannot rate for this reason. Will revisit in the future.
