From Meßmer

White Tea is a very special tea and is grown in southeastern China. It is related to green tea and considered one of the finest teas in the world. With its fine flavour nuances white tea is known as the emperor of tea; and it derives its name from the tiny white hairs on the buds. White tea has a delicate, flowery taste and the slightly sweet aroma of young tea leaves, and it promotes good health. A particular white-tea quality from the spring harvest has been chosen for Messmer White Tea. Following the highly successful launch of Messmer White Tea with tea blossoms in 2005, Messmer is setting a new accent with the introduction of Messmer Vanilla-Peach White Tea. White Tea Vanilla-Peach is a delicate tea composition featuring fine fruit aromas and petals, and is very refined and unique experience in taste.

Ingredients: White tea, aroma, rose petals, mallow leaves

I like Messmer because it has lots of interesting blends in addition to the classic choices. This white tea has to be my favourite! Though the vanilla and peach flavours come from flavouring, they are subtle enough to make you think they are natural. And who wouldn’t like the combination of vanilla and peach?? I keep sniffing the tea because the scent is just too lovely! ;P

The liquor is delicate and decidedly flowery, which is exactly what I love about white teas. It is peachy too – Reminds me of Snapple or Twinings peach tea, only better. :) Was talking about spring blend with Winter Salo yesterday, and I realize that this really matches the image of spring in my mind. :) Beautiful. We really need more good quality, inexpensive tea bags like this!
