From Loose Leaf Spot

Glass Slipper is a chamomile-mint blend which is both refreshing & relaxing.

One of the iconic aspects of Perrault’s Cinderella story is the moment when she leaves a glass slipper behind. After that moment of haste and stress, it’s likely Cinderella could have used a nice cup of chamomile-mint tea. In addition, the tea is light in color – like a glass slipper.

Ingredients: Chamomile from the Nile River Delta region of Egypt and peppermint from Washington state, USA.

Preparation: Use boiling water. If you want to gauge the temperature it should be about 100ºC/212ºF. Use approximately 1.5 teaspoon per 6-8 ounces. Let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes. Great plain or with sweetener to taste.

About the Tea:

Caffeine: Naturally caffeine free.

Nutrition: Chamomile is good for the complexion while peppermint is good for the digestive system.

Storage: for maximum shelf-life (about 2 years), store in an airtight container in a cool dry location (do not refrigerate).
