From Kathay

“Te’ verde pregiato dalle foglie leggermente schiacciate e assottigliate, di colore verde chiaro. Dal sapore fresco e dal gusto intenso e dolciastro.”
This probably is the standard sencha from Ujinotsuyu, considering that the importer is Uniontrade and in the website of the importer they only have that kind of sencha tea.

So far is the best green tea I ever drank. A lot more tasty and aromatic than the gunpowder I was used to and to the “stems and leaves” from adagio.
I think it’s pretty strong in caffeine, though. After four cups I felt definitely overexcited, just as I felt when I drank too much coffee during the day. But, it’s just a lovely one.
It’s difficult to find the right steeping time; too few it will be weak, too much and it will be bitter and astringent. Of course that’s true with every tea, but here I find it’s a matter of seconds.
