From Joy's Teaspoon

Paired with a piece of mascarpone cheesecake or slice of tiramisu and you will think you have been transported to a vineyard in Tuscany! The light Irish coffee taste, complemented by a hint of sweet carmel pieces only refined by mascarpone. Naturally caffeine free.

As rooibos and marzipan/amaretto-based blends go, this takes the cake! I really enjoyed it last night. I often find that while I like that marzipan/amaretto flavor/smell, I want it in controlled amounts and most blends with that make it way overpowering to the point it starts to smell like plastic. Not so much an issue here somehow, possibly because the tanginess (Yes! This week I have been winning when it comes to finding teas that delivery that tangy dairy note!) cuts it off. I really liked this. Yes you can taste the rooibos, but it doesn’t take over the way it so often can. It’s there but not out of control. Would drink again.

Amaretto Sour? Almond Toffee? Irish Coffee? Flavored Rooibos? All mixed into one? Interesting…not bad! Different! Thanks FrenchVanilla!

First I just want to say “Thank You” to Naomi of Joy’s Teaspoon for sending me this sample. I truly appreciate the opportunity.
I found this to be interesting. It definately tastes creamy with a slight hint of coffee. It does give you a sense of Italian Latte. I will also say there are a lot of ingredients in this but I can’t tell them apart except for maybe the yogurt and coffee. I didn’t really taste chocolate, brittle, or caramel, it may be that the combination created another flavor making it hard to tell the different flavors apart. Nevertheless,it is good but maybe just a bit to complex for me.

This is a very interesting tea. It’s a sweet dessert tea, but the flavor is grounded by something in it that is almost savory tasting. There are hints of coffee, cream, caramel and toffee. The mouthfeel is creamy and there is a prominent cheesecake aftertaste. I just wish the chamomile hadn’t been included in the mix, as I think it probably brings down the flavor of the tea a bit. A very nice, unique tea. Prepared with stevia.

Got this as a sample thanks to Naomi at Joy’s Teaspoon. It smells a lot like Teavana’s Tiramisu Treviso but is a little more subtle in terms of taste. Good both with and without sweetener. Perfect dessert cup.

I removed this tea from its pouch a bit worried. It smelled quite strongly of some kind of alcoholic drink and I was worried that it would taste like it, too! It’s definitely got a calm rooibos flavor and something that tastes like coffee? I can’t taste any of the creamy parts. It’s mostly a coffee-like taste, rooibos and the liquor-sweetness that I don’t really like. It leaves a strange bit of liquor taste in your mouth. I did finish the cup and I did think that it was a smooth drink, overall. I wish I could have tasted the creamy characteristic and that the liquor smell/taste could be removed. I also want to give Naomi a big thank you for sending me a sample of this.
