Da Fang tea is said to have been created during the Song to Yuan Dynasty by a monk named “Da Fang”. He planted and made this tea to serve the believers visiting the temple. The fame of Da Fag green tea spreaded over and it ended up being one of the tribute tea offers a greenish-yellow color. The shinn and oily leaves carry a sharp tip with iron black color. The dry leaves offer fresh roasted chestnut fragrance with a hint of floral touch, very clean to the nose. The wet leaves give a high and deep fragrance but sweeter and complemented by a subtle fresh nutty touch. The bright yellow green green tea in a gaiwan, always leave a little bit of tea in the gaiwan between each infusion. This is call “the root” and will allow you to get the best of the green tea.
