This was a tea suggestion from Bear With Me. Unlike Sil, I enjoy my citruses and florals. Mm, delicious florals.

I viewed this a more cutting kind of earl grey, and I had a good time with it. The jasmine nor the bergamot curdled the milk with their liveliness, which is always nice. Definitely a sharp, bright wake-me-up tea though. I’d add it to the mental spa category of teas.

haha glad you enjoyed this one more than me :)

Does it taste like Canada? ;)

Honestly, when I first read the name I was expecting (hoping for) maple. Maybe this tea is meant to represent not what a stereotypical Canadian eats for breakfast but what an actual Canadian would taste and smell like during said meal: bergamot and jasmine. We are unanimously a clean smelling bunch before noon.

oh bear with me you know how i’ll try anything lol. fancy this…a tea with two of my arch nemeses….the dreaded blergamot AND his nefarious evil twin – jasmine. I of course didn’t know it until the water hit the leaves…. and then they popped up! Admittedly though, it “almost” works in this tea. The blergamot is subdued a little by the jasmine and neither one is overpowering. I just don’t like the flavour combination that it has. thanks for letting me try this though BWM! wasn’t as bad as i would have thought it would be haha

Lala

Bergamot and Jamine definitely do not scream Canadian to me. Ha ha.

Sil

i thought it was a straight tea…until i added water heh

Bear With Me

Pretty sure that was the cheekiest one I sent you, so everything else should be pretty safe ;)

She chose a good smooth base which I think helped too. It’s not a combo I ever would have thought of, but it’s grown on me!
