Cooking TTB #14

This smelled buttery and nutty right off the bat, which was totally good news to me. I’ve been wanting to try a walnut green for a while now and was very happy to see this in the TTB for that reason! I’m definitely sold on trying others now, as well as trying other things from Indigo Tea Company! There was a lot of sweet nuttiness here but not so much that I didn’t get any green tea. So glad to have tried it!

From the Cooking TTB.

This has a lot of sweet nut and creamy coconut flavours to it. There’s also a faint hint of cinnamon, which I think might be contamination from another tea in the box. Pleasant and easy to drink. There’s a slight mouth coating sensation, more oily than astringent, though this cup doesn’t have the oily film you get from some teas with coconut. The green base supports the other flavours but it’s really noteworthy.

Overall a pleasant cup but not a tea I need.
