From Harrisons & Crosfield Teas Inc.

Harrisons & Crosfield White Tea with Blackcurrent is a finely balanced blend of premium hand-plucked white tea leaves flavoured with natural blackcurrant. White tea is crafted from the top leaf and bud of the tea bush and is dried before fermentation can take place, producing a very fresh delicate taste and maintaining many of the teas’ health-beneficial antioxidants. The refreshing white tea taste works particularly well with the luscious berry flavour of blackcurrant. Enjoy this refreshing tea hot or iced any time of the day. Our individually wrapped string and tag flow-through tea bags are foil sealed for superior protection of flavour and aroma.

For the perfect cup, we recommend that you bring freshly drawn cold water to a boil and let stand for 1 minute. Boiling water will scorch the delicate tea leaves. Pour over tea bag and infuse for 2 to 4 minutes. Remove tea bag. Over brewing will result in bitter tasting tea. Serve on its own. Sweeten to taste.

* White tea contains health-beneficial antioxidants * Each tea bag contains 2.5 grams of tea. That’s 25% more tea than the standard U.S. tea bag which contain 2 grams or less. The more tea in your tea bag ensures a richer, better tasting cup of tea. Kosher certified 20 tea bags per self-dispensing box Tea imported from England, packed in the U.S.

Was excited to try this tea out, so I saved it for a particularly tough day, when I would need something special to get me through every thing. As I waited for it to finish steeping, I realized that a multitude of tea dust was floating on the surface of the water and that the bag I had was ripped. Shit. The sip I did take of it was great, and it smelled wonderful, but I didn’t need to be eating leaves as I studied for my mid term. Maybe I’ll actually get a decent cup of this, one day.
