From Harney & Sons

The pleasant fragrance of ripened peaches floods the senses and upon first sip, Organic Peach is light and delicate, mimicking the sweet scent of feshly sliced peaches , but a surprise interrupts the smooth rush – the hint of tea in the backdrop makes a bold finale, leaving behind an invigorating black tea finish.

I am all exhausted from my friend’s wedding weekend. I got upgraded from bridesmaid to ringbearer once the bride forgot the rings at her apartment in Inwood. I had to get back on the A train for 45 min and then head back to Penn Station. I’m glad we found out before we left Manhattan for Long Island! I haven’t had a decent cup of tea since yesterday morning and I really need to get myself some ASAP! This iced tea is a nice holdover, which I bought with lunch @ Pota-topia.

It’s better than Snapple Peach. It is less sweet with a bolder, maltier base. The peach flavor is natural, but not something that will make me want it again as a regular thing.

Ysaurella

the bride forgot the rings ? Erm…allo Mr Freud, would you have a cup of tea ?

Fuzzy_Peachkin

Lol! She switched purses at the last second and the little black jewelry box did not make it into the other purse! She had the wedding license though!

Posting from Fresh To Order in midtown on my break. I plan on trying all of these eventually.

Much like the coconut green I tried previously, it’s very lightly sweetened, which is something I like. I can’t stand overly sweet bottled teas, like Arizona’s, for example. The peach flavor is great. It’s strong and realistic, and stands out the most. It isn’t tart at all, though it is a bit astringent. The black tea they used is pretty standard, and just bitter enough for you to tell it’s there. I can’t really detect any complex flavors in it because of the peach. But this is good, especially during this heat wave. I would get it again if given the chance.

Ooh, after their Black Currant one I had last week, it’s good to know other places around town that carry their bottled teas!

Hmm, maybe I’ll try that one next!

Bought at au bon pain to accompany a snack. Unimpressive overall. Could be a tad sweeter and there’s a bit of bitterness to it. That said, the peach and black tea flavors do blend well once you get past the bitter. I hope I just got a meh bottle, as it seems promising. VERY important to shake first and possibly a bit during drinking too.
