From Guru Teas

NAI XIANG – (Taiwan) Originally from Ali Mountain in Taiwan, this magnificent tea has won several awards in the “wulong” category over the last few years for its taste and quality. This tea from a terroir at high altitude is only picked in winter. In infusion, it gives a yellow-green liquor.

It has a unique and unforgettable scent of fresh milk with a floral note and coconut cream. To taste, it is rich with a sweet note and has a very good length in the mouth; a must to taste.

Gongfu Sipdown (1541)!

This milk oolong was one of the samples kindly gifted in my Discovery Box and it’s pretty delicious! Definiteley very clearly flavoured, but that doesn’t bother me at all. This creamy oolong tastes a bit like drinking fresh flowers dipped in butter, and boy do I love butter!! Rich, silky and smooth – this tea made for a delicious afternoon tea session paired with some ripe blackberries in between steeps!
