I definitely don’t think myself an expert at all but a cup of this today didn’t go amiss. Warm, sweet and malty, this is a comforting cup and stands well straight.
Grown at 1700 meters above sea level in the mountainous Himalayas, this truly organic tea is “fed” by the swirling mists and Mountain Dew that can only be achieved by this region.
Tasting Notes: The tea leaves are hand rolled, with large leaves joined to the small pale buds, resulting in a khaki green infusion. The original bouquet is characterised by floral, herbaceous and burnt notes. A surprising balance between flavours, textures and aromas gives this unique tea it’s own feel.
Steeping Directions: Infuse in a Yixing teapot for 3-4 minutes at 85C.
