From Great Wall Tea Company

We have finally sourced a fabulous new oolong after sadly losing our last supplier some months ago! An excellent mid-high grade of Tie Guan Yin (also known as Ti Kuan Yin) oolong tea that is pure and smooth with a light sweetness and intricate orchid finish. All the quality that you’d hope from this lighter oxidized beautiful leaf but without the massive price tag. This tea can be steeped multiple times to continue developing the flavours. Occasionally referred to as Iron Buddha, although depending on the region of origin, Iron Buddhas can produce some notably different flavour notes. For that reason, we will be referring to this tea as Iron Goddess of Mercy, with the more traditional orchid and floral notes associated with the Anxi region.

Ingredients: Oolong tea.

Origin: Anxi, Fujian province, China.

Caffeine Content: High

Water Temperature: 90c/195f

Steep Time: 2 mins (can be resteeped)

One teaspoon per 6 ozs water
