“This was really good. I have taken to enjoying Earl Grey in the mornings, in various forms, now that I realize how much I love it when it is tempered with milk. Without milk, it tastes soapy to me....” Read full tasting note

Description

For all you Earl Grey fans out there we bring you a slight variation on the traditional Earl Grey with our Yorkshire Earl Grey. Usually Earl Grey has a base of various Chinese teas however with our blend we have gone with high altitude, seasonal Ceylon teas from Sri Lanka mixed with high grade Orange Pekoe from the Tinderet Estate in Kenya. Of course no Earl Grey would be complete without the addition of some all-natural oil of Bergamot to give the tea that citrus tang. The end product is a wonderfully robust and rich Earl Grey. We aren’t saying this is an improvement on the traditional Earl Grey but it’s a definitely just as good and worth a try for you tea connoisseurs.

Why did we name this Earl Grey after Yorkshire? Why not? Yorkshire is one of the largest English counties and if you asked the people living there you would most certainly be told the best English county. Famous for flat caps, whippets, the Yorkshire dales and that distinctive accent we thought Yorkshire definitely deserved it’s own Earl Grey.
