From Great British Tea Store

A bracing Black tea blend from some of the worlds greatest tea gardens in the top tea growing regions. The teas in this blend originate from the Assam and Nilgiri regions in India, the Dimbula region in Sri Lanka and the Nandi Highlands in Kenya. The resulting cup has a bright coppery colour. This tea goes great with rye toast and jam, carrot cake and baked ham sandwiches. This tea is definitely fit for a queen!

This one is really good – it was very reminiscent of baked goods, and I was expecting a punch of astringency because a lot of the black teas I have tried from this brand have had that quality…and nothing. Just hot deliciousness. Until it cooled to warm…then astringency up the wazoo! Because of this, I probably won’t purchase, but should I come across any I would happily drink it up. While it is still hot, anyhow.
