From Great British Tea Store

Earl Grey is one of the most popular blends in the world. In every version it’s a combination of tea and bergamot oil. It’s the bergamot oil that gives it the distinctive aroma and makes it immediately recognisable to anyone whose ever enjoyed a cup of Earl Grey. This particular blend is made with premium Pai Mu Tan (White Peony) tea, and is creamy with a deep Earl Grey finish.

I’ve really been enjoying white tea recently, but this one missed the mark for me. I don’t care for the base, which has a slightly musty flavor. And the flavoring was weak…no vanilla at all that I could detect and just a hint of slightly sour citrus flavor. Definitely not something I’d drink again. But on the plus side, I only have three more samples from Great British Tea store to sipdown my entire sample pack!

I was really excited to try this tea because it was a cream earl grey version. However, after trying it I can’t say that I love it. The cream taste doesn’t come out very well in the tea and neither does the earl grey.
