Our Japanese Sencha Green tea selection is one of Japan’s highly regarded teas. Its bright green flat leaves are hand picked early in the season at estates located in the Kyoto growing region. The select leaves are then steamed and oven-fired to create this style of Japanese green tea. These methods of production leave the Sencha leaves with an enhanced green color and high vitamin C content. When brewed, it produces a fresh, slightly vegetal aroma and a cup that is light golden-yellow in appearance.
