From Good Tea Good Day

About this tea
Wanna glow your natural youthful beauty? Beauty Booster is your must-have herbal tea for natural skin beauty! It contains the beneficial essences of rose hip, rosebud and apple blossom in one herbal blend.

Rose hip is well known for its rich anti-oxidant properties to protect you from skin aging. It is one of the most popular anti-aging herbs around the world.

According to traditional chinese health concepts, rose regulates the movement of liver qi (energy) and releases energy blocks. A healthy functioning liver is crucial to detoxification and metabolism, which are the basis of healthy beautiful skin. Rose also promotes blood flow, helps nourish the skin and promotes a healthy rosy complexion.

Apple blossom is also well known for its benefits to regulate the liver and nourish the lung, thus supporting body fluid metabolism and skin health. It helps you shoot the problems of acne and spot while brightening your skin with a clear moist glow.

Sipdown! (5 | 494)

Didn’t even notice that I still had one of these packets left still! This one looks to be mostly rosebuds, sadly for me.

Actually I’m surprised how much of the flavor is the rosehips. They add a tart fruity note that’s quite pleasant. The rose is also quite strong, of course, but at least it doesn’t taste like perfume. There’s a strong musty note? I guess it must be from the apple blossom, which I haven’t had before. I also taste a slight bitterness at the beginning of the sip.

Obviously not a favorite for me, being so rosy. But it’s drinkable and the tart rosehips are pleasant enough.

(Please note that my rating is only in regard to the taste of this tisane, I can’t comment on any potential health benefits.)
