A fall fave meets the iconic Indian comfort beverage! Our delectable house Masala Chai gets a seasonal makeover with the addition of real pumpkin pieces and extract. Spicy and complex, with just a hint of sweet. To enjoy this tea the way the chaiwallas do, simmer in a pan of milk on the stove (stir frequently to prevent scorching) for five minutes, then strain and add sugar to taste.

Fall sampler strikes again!

This is a nice tea, I like that I can taste a bit of the pumpkin flavoring, which is not always the case. However, I really wish the cinnamon and ginger flavoring just wasn’t there. I feel like spice flavoring doesn’t taste at all like the real thing, and the cinnamon in particular always tastes like candy or spiced potpourri. Also it kind of defeats the purpose of having actual cinnamon and ginger pieces mixed in.

Anyway, I like it anyway, but I feel like I would love it if it were just pumpkin and vanilla flavors paired with actual spices. But obviously that’s just my personal preference. :P

Delicious! Tastes really smooth and there’s a perfect balance between the maple and spices. Wish I’d grabbed more of this one.

This is a pleasant chai with maybe a hint of pumpkin(?). An unremarkable chai without bitterness, I’d put some more ginger in it if it was in my cupboard for a sipdown. Thanks for the opportunity to try a new tea vendor!

Sipped down!
This smells a little pumpkiny, but I really have to think about it when I smell the cup. I don’t get pumpkin in the flavor. There is a light chai flavor, but it’s really light. I added honey and creamer in this cup and it diluted the chai quite a bit. The cup was really bland and with chai I expect the flavor to be strong enough to withstand the addition of cream. I had several other cups plain since I got this, but none of them really caught my attention. I was hoping I’d really like Friday teas, but so far I feel kinda eh about them.
