I was a bit alarmed when a whole clove bud leapt out of the dry leaf, but I needn’t have been. The spice mix is pleasant enough: mostly clove and ginger plus something vaguely eggnoggy. More chai-like than eggnog really, but still more on the gentle side of chai.

Imagine that it would make a dynamite latte with sweetener, but currently, I am drinking everything black and unsweetened.

Thank you, VariaTEA, for including this among your samples. I am enjoying it.

Another more Christmas inclined tea flavour…

Made this one with eggnog as well, because there’s something delightfully meta to me about adding eggnog to eggnog inspired teas. I also added a bit of vanilla agave as well, for extra creaminess. It was a fine cup of tea; but I really loathe the presence of ginger in this one. Also, like all other eggnog inspired teas this year, this failed to make me feel festive.

Chocolate milk latte that I got a few sips of before people rushed in for the Jewish holiday. Annoying people who gathered in the kitchen where my latte was and so I sacrificed it to avoid them. Luckily I have a lot more chocolate milk to experiment with. I also have coconut milk so I’m trying to decide which teas I have in my cupboard to have with what type of milk. Suggestions?

Lime in the coconut w coconut milk, maybe? Dirty girl scout with either.

VariaTEA

I don’t think I have Lime in the Coconut anymore but I have been thinking about Dirty Girl Scout

And maybe some of the stronger chai teas in our swap might work. Coconut milk for sure will work. Chocolate milk might.
