This one was very powdery before steeping, I’m guessing from the turmeric. It has an earthy flavor, but it also tastes artificially sweet. Is there licorice root in this? Nope, looks like it might be the stevia giving it that flavor.

And my cat just stuck her face in it.

Thanks for the sample, Devon Bartholomew. Must keep better watch next time.

Lol, did your kitty give a paws up or paws down on this one?

Shae

It was definitely a paws up – she tried to go back for more! :D

Advent day 14

I was intrigued when I opened the gift bag this morning – maple rooibos – oh yay I love maple! What in the heck is that yellow powder all about, is it turmeric? Saffron? Lol I never figured it out – we looked it up and was glad to find it was caffeine free so we would down with it last night. I liked it but would have enjoyed it more without the added stevia.

Courtney

Weird! Maybe maple sugar?

Inkling

I think the powder is almond flour? And I agree with you on the stevia…wish tea companies would quit adding it to things and just let us sweeten our own tea!
