Rose Black Tea is made from fine black tea mixed with crushed rose petals. When brewed this tea produces a reddish brown liquid with a sweet malt taste and a refreshing floral aroma. This is a superior black tea for all occasions.

I had a sample of this that’d I’d enjoyed hot, but never logged. When we had an 85°F day this week I decided to cold-brew the rest; about 8 tsp tea into a half gallon of water. It turned out great; the black tea and the rose both come through. No astringency, lightly sweet, floral. Tasty on its own, delicious with a bit of simple syrup.

So, I was at a Chinese market a while back and went into the tea isle which is about 50 feet long…there I see Rose Black loose leaf tea 80z for maybe $1.99. I had to get it….damn it tasted like nothing…so, I was jaded.
When I saw Rose Black as a sample at enjoyingtea.com, I had to give it a try.
Nice tea, a real rose/floral flavor. Not too strong either way-the tea or the rose. It’s soothing and definitely worth brewing

This tea is just swell. Not overly strong, gentle floral notes, and a beautiful liquor. I find the subtle flavors relaxing.

I usually don’t drink Rose tea, and I don’t like it. Surprisingly I managed to enjoy this… which is not necessarily an endorsement for rose tea lovers!
