Interestingly, only the best leaves are able to achieve the curly appearance, so these leaves are hand-sorted out, one by one. The leaves are only plucked in the pre-dawn, when the leaves are covered with a misty dew; this improves the taste. The Organic Pearl River Green Tea delivers a full green tea flavor with delicate pungency and body, and the cup is a bright forest green.
This tea is certified USDA and QMI Organic. For the best brew, Organic Pearl River Green Tea should steep in water that is steaming (150-180° F) for 1-4 minutes.
