I don’t know why I’ve been craving rooibos lately. I think it has something to do with the creamy mouthfeel it gives me and my recent decision to give up milk. shrugs

Anyway, this is a definite winner. It’s not tart, it’s not artificial tasting, it’s just plain good. I think I like the Strawberry Shortcake better, but it’s good to have this as a backup in case I can’t find the other!

Strawberry Tingle…wow that almost sounds naughty :)

Not only are you on a rooibos binge, but you also seem to be on a strawberry binge these days, too!

PS LOVE that name. It would be my stage name if I were a stripper.

lmao @DJBooth

Kay, that’s because I found the perfect strawberry rooibos and then couldn’t find it online and I’m scared it’s been discontinued XD. So I’m trying to reassure myself that I have other options >.< Also, I love me some berries!

The DJBooth

:) but seriously it sounds like something you would get at a pure romance party

I’ve been picking more rooibos up lately too, and I’m not a rooibos fan. Alpine Punch changed my tune, and so I picked up some Orange Blossom on suggestion recently, then yesterday I got 20g of Green and Fruity.

Thanks so much for the swap, AJRimmer!  So many teas I get to try. :D I’ve already had this once, so this time it’s a sipdown.  A pleasant enough strawberry flavor on a rooibos base.  The strawberry is really just sweetness with a hint of alcohol.  Looks like blackberry leaves in the blend?  If so, there is only a hint in the flavor.  ETS is almost always vague on their ingredients.  The second cup was full of sweetness.  I would say it was more of a sweet rooibos blend than anything resembling strawberry. Not the best, but appreciate trying it.  Why are strawberry teas so tough to accomplish?

There’s an alcohol flavor in here that can be pretty strong. To my tastes at least. The strawberry is there as well, and I like the rooibos, but I think, due to the off-putting background flavor, I wouldn’t have this again. There are much better strawberry options.

What are your favorite strawberry teas?

AJRimmer

My absolute favorite is wild strawberry from Adagio. It makes the most amazing iced tea (though it’s been a few years since I’ve had it now, so I hope it lives up to my memory when I re-purchase it eventually). Recently, I also really enjoyed strawberry achoo from Tea Revv. I definitely prefer ones that just have fruit and no rooibos or tea.

on to the wishlist they go :D

Another sipdown (and we are back to tealogging in real time, sorry for the flood of reviews), and I think unfortunately this has succumbed to age. I’m getting that kind of woody rooibos funk but not a whole lot of strawberry. Disappointing.
