From English Tea Leaves

Rasputin Tea has a strong and smokey flavor.

Our own blend of Keemun, Darjeeling and Lapsang Souchong.

Do you know the story of Rasputin? This tea is named after quite a character.

Rasputin, meaning “debauched one” in Russian, was a nickname given to Grigory Yefimovich Novykh.

This rascally peasant dabbled in religion and mysticism when it suited his interest, and ended up curing the hemophiliac son of the Russian Tsar and Tsarina, probably with the use of hypnotism.

A source of great scandal, the mystic Rasputin was nevertheless highly esteemed by the royal family for his services.

Smoky, dark, earthy, and mischievious on the pallet, this 3-tea loose leaf blend of lapsang souchong, darjeeling, and keemun is strong enough to have you folk dancing and singing, “Ra! Ra! Rasputin!”

Brewing time: 4-5 minutes.
