From Eight Cranes

This is one of the most elegant Phoenix Oolong teas. Its name means “Orange Blossom Fragrance”, and this can be attributed to the because of the hint of citrus oil in the tea’s natural aroma.

This tea is also raised at nearly 1000 meters above sea level on Wudong Mountain (乌东山). It is gathered from 100+ year old trees, which were originally developed from a 600+ year old Phoenix Shui Xian(水仙) mother tree. The total production from this grove is only about 25 kilograms a year.

This tea is finished at an oxidation rate of about 25%. Resulting in the characteristic hint of citrus while yielding a rounder, honey-like quality This tea has a smoother character with a more pronounced and persistent finish.
