This is a tasty ripe puerh with none of the extreme nastiness of fermentation. I am not saying it has cleared all fermentation flavor just that the worst of it is gone. I was too lazy to gongfu this this morning so it only got brewed western style. It has a nice fruity sweetness to it. This is another example of a good tea that streetshop88 has sold me. While they sell mostly off brands I have gotten some good stuff from them. I have a number of their teas waiting to be tried but that I haven’t gotten around to yet.

I brewed this once in a Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and boiling water for 30 sec after giving it a 10 sec rinse.

Another interesting tea from Sil – thank you.

This one is a little fruity and a little woody, it’s pretty sweet – but – there is something a little funky in the back ground. It’s not overly offensive, but might turn off someone new to pu’erh.
The funky disappears with later steeps but so does the interesting fruity notes. I don’t think I would buy this but was fun to drink a few steeps.

Sil

i think this one was the sample they sent me?

Dexter

Yes it was the sample. Even the liquor was a little cloudy muddy. It was OK but a little smelly feet.

this was a free sample with my first streetshopp88 order. Not necessarily something i would have picked for myself, but overall this was fairly pleasant. I had a few steepings of it today and it remained a middle of the road, average sort of brew. nothing amazing about it, but nothing wrong with it either.
